Condolences
I knew Brian from the stampede for many years and was then reunited with him when we both went to Century Downs when racing restarted around Calgary .I got to know him better at Century Downs as we saw each other every day. We had lots of stories to share about old times and lots of laughs as well. Sadly another racing legend is gone .RIP Brian. See you later at the finish line.
With heavy heart I have to say goodbye to an old friend and coworker. I have many fond memories working with Brian for so many years. My thoughts and prayers are with Lori and family.
Sincere condolences, Debbie Waddington
Sadly, another one of the Alberta horse-racing scene has passed away. Specifically, Brian will be remembered as a Stampede Park race official for all those good ol' days. So happy that Brian found love. Because he was "one of the good ones." RIP, ol' friend.
Rest peacefully Brian. You were the best! I had a lot of fun with you. My best memory is going to the Drive Inn in Coronation after the races in the parimutuel van. I rolled around in the office chair, all the way to town from my parent’s acreage. To Brian’s wife; I am so glad Brian found love. He deserved it. He was such a nice guy.
Sincere condolences to Brian’s family. Both myself and my late husband, Brian Leavitt, worked with Brian at Stampede Park. He always had a smile for customers and colleagues
Lori and family! I’m so very sorry to hear we’ve lost Brian, he was a good friend and always great to work with! We enjoyed many laughs together! He will be missed. Condolences Judy Lyons
