My condolences to all. Barry was a great neighbor and so kind to all of us kids on Wildwood Drive. I still have the old wooden ice axe he gave me when he heard that I was interested in mountaineering, a souvenir of his climbing trip with Hans Gmoser in the Sixties.

I remember your father as such a kind and gentle man. So even tempered and caring.

I still recall him enthusiastically sharing some refreshing mountain water from a canteen with Jennifer and me upon his return from a hike. And the lessons on how to touch noses with llamas. So wonderful.

No doubt you all have many beautiful memories to help fuel you through your own lives.
