We didn’t call him uncle Smiley for nothing. To me he was more of a friend I could laugh and kibbutz with, sharp as a tack with childlike qualities, he never took himself to seriously and it made him easy going and the life of a party and there was lots of those. Anything for a laugh but a very loving dedicated family man. If there is a lampshade in heaven he’s wearing it. I love the Wiebe family and am saddened for your loss. He is with auntie now. Well I have a treasure trove of memories with my dear Uncle Smiley. From an early age I spent time at Aunty Shirley and Uncle Smileys for holidays. Always so much fun and love.

He was always ready to help me with my business. Wagon repairs to cooking smokies. We had so many laughs and he was always up for a party, welcome new people and make you smile

I will always remember the many good times with you. Rest in Peace
